Sheila Ross

Sheila Ross is the senior director of public affairs at SPP. She specializes in grassroots outreach, coalition building and garnering community support for client initiatives and programs. Sheila focuses on identifying and engaging messengers that will help provide the impact SPP’s clients seek. She helps shape client messages and public opinion in a variety of ways, including engaging elected officials, garnering media coverage and organizing events. Sheila has worked on issues facing a variety of industries, including healthcare, energy, defense and logistics.

Prior to joining SPP, Sheila spent several years as a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives. She gained extensive knowledge of the legislative process, communication tactics and how to successfully work with diverse groups and varying goals.

Sheila is a graduate of The Ohio State University. She is a member of Kiwanis. She resides in Columbus, Ohio with her daughter. They enjoy exploring the local Metro Parks and spending time outside with their dog.
