Jessica Ryan

Jessica Ryan is the Senior Director of Communications at SPP. She specializes in grassroots outreach, social media engagement and strategic communications. At SPP she works closely on public affairs projects and engages with the media to get the message of our clients to the forefront of local and state discussions. She is passionate about utilizing new tactics and social media platforms to shape public opinion and client messaging.

Jessica holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the Ohio State University’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs and a B.A. in Political Science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where she was a member of the women’s lacrosse team. During school, her research focused on millennial outreach for political campaigns. She has past experience with political action committees and the United States House of Representatives.

She lives in Columbus with her husband and can always be counted on for a book recommendation and cheering on the Buckeyes, Columbus Crew & Blue Jackets.
