COLUMBUS – Strategic Public Partners today announced John Campbell has been named president of the firm. For over 5 years, he has served as the executive vice president of SPP. In this new role, Campbell will direct the company’s financial goals, objectives and budgets. He will also manage staff, including organizational structure, professional development, personnel policies and procedures. This move formalizes the role Campbell has grown into during his tenure with the company.

Campbell is a veteran of several successful statewide candidate and ballot issue campaigns. He has extensive experience in campaign-style tactics, opinion leader mobilization, grassroots organization and issue campaign management.

Campbell has served on the executive leadership teams of the 2012 “No on Issue 2,” 2010 Portman for U.S. Senate and the 2009 “Yes on Issue 3” campaigns. Additionally, he has served as central Ohio district director for U.S. Senator Rob Portman, executive director of the Franklin County Republican Party and coordinated public policy and political events for former Ohio Governor Bob Taft.

Company owners Darrin Klinger and Brandon Lynaugh said they look forward to this new chapter for the firm.
