COLUMBUS (May 19, 2016) – The team at Strategic Public Partners is pleased to welcome interns Maygan Beeler and Jessica Johnson to our offices. Maygan and Jessica will be responsible for a wide range of public relations and public affairs projects throughout their internship.
Maygan is currently a student at Ohio University studying Strategic Communication with a minor in Political Science. Maygan has extensive experience in the field of media communications. She previously held a position as a Web Correspondent at the Scripps College of Communication where she wrote feature stories on Scripps graduates and managed web content. She also worked as a news reporter for OU’s The Post covering student government and current events.
Jessica comes to us from Slippery Rock University with a degree in Political Science and minor in Geography. Her background in politics extends from local to national government. Jessica has interned for the College Republican National Committee and several state representatives in Ohio and Pennsylvania. She also served as the Vice President of Student Life at the Slippery Rock Student Government Association.
The Strategic Public Partners internship program works to provide real world experiences to college students seeking to learn more about the fields of public relations and public affairs that extends far beyond the classroom and into their professional lives at SPP. Maygan and Jessica will play important roles in projects for a variety of industries. We look forward to having them as part of our team.
